Detector Safety System (DSS)¶
The DSS reacts if there is an emergency such as fire, smoke, water leak etc. The typical reaction of the DSS is to cut the power of the rack involved in the emergency, which is basically lead by PLC sensors mounted on each rack.
The 'DSS Info' tab in the main interface of DCS provides an overview for the whole system i.e. HV and LV rack monitoring etc. The DSS is controlled and managed by a central dedicated team.
